I’m going to let you in on one of the greatest grocery store secrets of all time…
It’s Fri-YAY! And you guys…how are we already less than a week to Thanksgiving?! It’s crazy to think that we were just anticipating Halloween, and suddenly Thanksgiving is right on our heels.
Thankfully we never host Thanksgiving so I don’t have to plan, organize and cook for that, and I’m able to focus on these bowl meals and keeping on the healthy path.
Happy Monday! I’m officially back into the swing of things here at Creative Life Explored. Before I left for vacation I had worked ahead to have recipes and posts planned while I was away, but when I returned I had nothing except for the Steak, Egg & White Gravy Breakfast Bowls, which was incredibly frustrating for me. I’m definitely a planner, and time management is important for me since I’m still working thee ol’ full time job (my crazy bank expects me to pay my mortgage, ya know?) 🙂
So last week I was lacking in the recipe post department, but fear not! I’ve spent the last 2 days cooking and photographing like craaaaaazy, so I’m back to being a little ahead of curve and have l-o-t-s of fun bowl meals comin’ your way.
Happy Friday, friends! I’m back from a wonderful vacation in Asheville, NC and excited to be back into the swing of things (well almost, the laundry isn’t doing itself I suppose) and I’m hitting the ground running with my new focus on bowl meals! If you didn’t see my post last week, I have focused the direction of Creative Life Explored exclusively on bowl meals. That means all types of meals and all kinds of new recipes – because everything tastes better in a bowl!
I have lots of fun, healthy, and themed stuff in store for you going forward; you don’t have to be restricted to what you make JUST because it’s a bowl meal!
This how-to Tuesday was a bit of a no brainer. Not only do I spiralize a lot and have a whole category dedicated to the recipes, but if you haven’t heard I am a new Brand Ambassador for the Inspiralizer!
Spiralizing is easy and fun, and you can create so many healthy recipes! In addition, the number of different fruits and vegetables you can spiralize is endless. From zucchini to sweet potatoes, to apples, cucumbers, onions and butternut squash (just to name a few), there are so many options!
How many of you are fans of spinach artichoke dip? I bet quite a few of you – it’s delicious! I know I love the dip, and I love when it comes with big chunks of artichokes. That was actually how I started liking artichokes.
I quite honestly don’t think I’d even had an artichoke before I started eating spin dip, and I found that I loved the flavor that came from the artichokes (I mean, the cream cheese didn’t hurt anything 🙂 ).
I have been dying to make these tacos ever since I found them on Pinterest. This recipe is from Erin over at Well Plated, and it’s not often that I see a vegetarian recipe and think “yes, I HAVE to have that in my life”, but that’s exactly what happened.
I’ll admit I’m a bit of sucker for a recipe with corn in it, and with zucchini season coming to a close the idea that I could still get some more recipes cooked with one of my favorite vegetables definitely appealed to me.
